CAPTURING LIFE WITHOUT INTERRUPTING IT
I am a storytelling photographer drawn to quiet, honest moments.
Black and white imagery has always felt closest to my heart. My work focuses on simplicity — children as they are, mothers as they feel, families in their most unguarded spaces. Nothing overly posed. Nothing forced. Just life unfolding gently.
I come from an artistic upbringing, and before photography I was a Montessori educator. Being around children for so many years shaped the way I see and photograph them. I observe before I photograph. I wait before I click. I believe the most meaningful images are the ones that are lived, not directed.
Many of my frames naturally carry themes of love, protection, stillness, gratitude and quiet joy. There is softness in them, but also strength.
Over the years my work has grown through phases of self-doubt, learning, re-learning, and often returning to old archives with new eyes. Photography for me is not about constant visibility. It is about depth. It is about creating images that will still feel true decades later.
Through documentary family stories, portraits, artist films and personal projects, I try to create work that feels intimate yet universal — photographs that allow people to see themselves gently, and remember what truly matters.
No props
No artificial lights. No forced poses
Just real moments
