Realising that I love photographing life in repetition, I also realised there was one ritual unfolding in my own home every single day—one I had almost overlooked.
Every afternoon, almost like clockwork, the ladies gather over tea. The ritual never announces itself. It simply happens. Tea is poured, rusks are shared, and they sit together before returning to the rest of the day.
Wanting to leave the moment untouched, I photographed them quietly from my corner. The exhaustion of the day was already visible. They didn't need to fill the silence with conversation.
Maybe next time, I'll join them for a cup of tea ?
